SILVER STEEL BS1407
This product is a high
carbon bright steel ground to a very close tolerance. It is
supplied in an annealed condition but because of the high
carbon and chromium content it can achieve high hardness
levels. This is a versatile product that can be used in many
engineering applications. Silver Steel is available
in a large size range in both metric & imperial diameters.
Some non-standard sizes can be found in stock (e.g. 1mm,5/64")
and we are able to produce non standard sizes to order.
We
carry an extensive range in metric & imperial. With the
standard lengths of 13", 1 metre & 2 metre. 3 metre
lengths can be supplied on request.
