Green Grinding Wheels.

Green wheels are bonded grinding wheels made with silicon carbide abrasive. These wheels have a wide range of uses for grinding more difficult materials like stainless steel. Silicon carbide is a very hard and sharp substance that when bonded into a grinding wheel gives good cutting performance which is required on challenging materials. Green grinding wheels are often found on bench and pedestal grinding machines but can also be used in more precision applications such as internal, external, surface and cylindrical grinding.

• The most friable conventional abrasive grain. Harder and more friable than aluminium oxide abrasive.
• For general purpose bench and pedestal applications on non-ferrous materials and carbide tools.
• ideal for high precision grinding and sharpening applications
• Good cut rate and finish on metal carbide and non-ferrous hard or heat sensitive materials.
