With all work locally produced our silver steel is a good multi-purpose steel. The silver steel we offer is a highly versatile product perfect for many of your engineering applications, because it can achieve high hardness levels due to its high carbon and chromium content.

Here at Coventry Grinders we offer a large size range of silver steel perfect for all customer needs, in both metric and imperial diameters. We are delighted to offer you the full range of Stubbs branded Key Steel & Shim Steel. Both Metric and Imperial sizes will be available. Shim steel will be available in other materials too subject to Stubbs range. Stubbs is a premium high quality brand, their Key Steel is zinc plated to add extra protection against corrosion whilst offering a good cosmetic appearance.

Welcome David Walford: A New Member to our Team!

We have a new member joining our team here at Coventry Grinders. His name is David Walford and he has been given the role of business development. We wholeheartedly welcome him on board and wish him every success with his new opportunity.

David is young and ambitious and comes from a coated abrasive background; he has extensive knowledge of abrasive belts, their manufacture and application. He is familiar with many different manufacturers’ backing material so can offer technical assistance in this field.

Primarily his role is to seek out new business opportunities locally and throughout the West Midlands. He will expand awareness of Coventry Grinders and advocate our company’s commitment to high level of service and level of professionalism.

We wish him the best of luck and look forward to the opportunities he will bring.
